Originating from County Durham, Emma now lives in the West of Scotland where she draws inspiration from the abundance of life in that part of the world.  Her light hearted pen and ink drawings seem to have a unique darkness to them, in which she uses shading to create depth and texture to bring her pieces to life. 

The outcome is a unique blend of precise shading on free flowing illustration that results in a piece that captivates the attention of the viewer.
